A fascinating combination of weaving and sewing! Tubes of fabric are woven in the classic tumbling block pattern without ever having to sew a "Y" seam. No piecing or quilting is required. And, it is completely reversible so you may choose to use a different border fabric on each side to make two different looks.

Supplies needed:
Dark fabric: 1 1/8 yard
Medium Fabric: 1 1/8 yard
Light Fabric: 7/8 yard
Border: 1/2 yard each of two fabrics
Fusible Batting: 10" x 60"
Piece of flannel, felt or other sturdy fabric measugint at least 18 x 46" - this will not be part of the finished project.
Your favorite tube turning tool ( we have a couple at the club that can be used).
Permanent and erasable marking pens,
Sewing machine in good working order and normal sewing supplies.
